Job Title: Project Management Engineer – MEP

Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Coordination:
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining MEP scope, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems into overall project plans.
- Client Interaction:
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their MEP requirements and expectations.
- Provide regular project updates, address client inquiries, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of MEP engineers, designers, and support staff.
- Foster a collaborative work environment, ensuring effective communication and efficient resource allocation.
- Budget and Resource Management:
- Oversee project budgets, ensuring financial goals are met, and costs are controlled.
- Manage resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize MEP project outcomes.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure MEP systems comply with industry standards and client specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and reviews to uphold the highest standards of quality.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks related to MEP systems and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry codes.
- Communication:
- Facilitate clear and consistent communication within the MEP project team and with external stakeholders.
- Provide detailed MEP updates to senior management and collaborate with other project managers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in MEP project management, preferably in a leadership role.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, construction practices, and industry standards.
