Job Title: Project Management Engineer – MEP

Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Coordination:
    • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining MEP scope, milestones, and resource requirements.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems into overall project plans.
  1. Client Interaction:
    • Act as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their MEP requirements and expectations.
    • Provide regular project updates, address client inquiries, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  1. Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor a team of MEP engineers, designers, and support staff.
    • Foster a collaborative work environment, ensuring effective communication and efficient resource allocation.
  1. Budget and Resource Management:
    • Oversee project budgets, ensuring financial goals are met, and costs are controlled.
    • Manage resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize MEP project outcomes.
  1. Quality Assurance:
    • Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure MEP systems comply with industry standards and client specifications.
    • Conduct regular inspections and reviews to uphold the highest standards of quality.
  1. Risk Management:
    • Identify potential risks related to MEP systems and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry codes.
  1. Communication:
    • Facilitate clear and consistent communication within the MEP project team and with external stakeholders.
    • Provide detailed MEP updates to senior management and collaborate with other project managers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in MEP project management, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, construction practices, and industry standards.
