We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Officer with specialized knowledge in healthcare and construction procurement processes in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, contract management, and vendor relations within the healthcare industry, coupled with expertise in managing procurement activities related to construction projects. As a Procurement Officer, you will play a key role in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring goods and services to support our organization’s operations and strategic objectives.


  • Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures tailored to meet the specific needs of healthcare facilities and construction projects in the UAE.
  • Lead the procurement process for healthcare supplies, equipment, and services, ensuring timely sourcing, negotiation, and contract award to meet operational requirements and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including clinical departments, facilities management, and project teams, to assess procurement needs, identify specifications, and establish procurement priorities.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement transactions.
  • Monitor vendor performance and compliance with contractual terms.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and track industry trends.
  • Analyze financial data, prepare budgets, and support financial planning.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Prepare financial reports and statements for management review.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies.
  • Collaborate with auditors during financial audits.
  • Provide financial advice and support to management.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in procurement or accounting is a plus.
  • Proven experience in procurement and accounting roles.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and regulations.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and procurement tools.
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving skills and decision-making ability.
  • Ethical and responsible conduct in financial matters.
