Job Description:
- Education: Masters/bachelors degree in occupational therapy or a related field from a recognized university or educational institution.
- Clinical Experience: Minimum of two years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist after completing your bachelors or masters degree. This experience should be obtained under the supervision of a licensed Occupational therapist.
- Licensing Examination: You must pass the licensing examination conducted by the Department of Health (DOH) in Abu Dhabi. The examination evaluates your knowledge and competency in occupational therapy.
- Language Proficiency: As an Occupational therapist, it is essential to have a strong command of the English & Arabic language, both written and spoken.
- Application Process: The application process typically involves providing relevant documents, such as your educational certificates, clinical experience letters, examination results, proof of language proficiency, and proof of professional membership.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of work experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Certificate of Employment as an occupational therapist must be available.
- Availability of the DOH eligibility or Data Flow report is a plus and a great advantage.
- English/Arabic Language speaking and writing is preferred.
- Additional training certificates would be appreciated.
