Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Logistics Supervisor with expertise in driver supervision to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics management, with demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to ensure efficient and timely transportation of staff. As a Logistics Supervisor, you will oversee the coordination of logistics operations, manage a team of drivers, and optimize delivery routes to meet client demands and business objectives
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Team Leadership:
- Supervise and coordinate daily logistics operations, including scheduling and dispatching staff, monitoring vehicle availability, and ensuring timely transportation of staff.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels through regular stock checks and audits.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to optimize storage space and organize inventory efficiently.
- Driver Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate daily logistics operations, including scheduling and dispatching deliveries, monitoring vehicle availability, and ensuring timely transportation of goods.
- Shipping and Receiving:
- Oversee the shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Collaborate with carriers and freight forwarders to schedule shipments and track deliveries.
- Route Planning and Optimization:
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to minimize transportation costs and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Address any route or delivery challenges promptly and implement corrective actions.
- Quality Control:
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that products meet established standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and address any issues related to product quality or packaging.
- Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory, shipments, and other logistics activities.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs paperwork.
- Cost Management:
- Monitor logistics expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Negotiate with suppliers and carriers to secure favorable terms and rates.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, and driver activities, and generate reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of logistics and transportation processes.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Must have UAE Driver’s License.

- Familiarity with local and international shipping regulations.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
