Responsibilities:
- Clinical Leadership:
- Provide effective leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care.
- Oversee and coordinate nursing activities within the healthcare facility.
- Staff Management:
- Manage and mentor nursing staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
- Create and maintain a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Patient Advocacy:
- Advocate for patients’ needs and rights, ensuring their well-being and satisfaction.
- Address patient concerns and coordinate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to uphold the highest standards of care.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Communication:
- Facilitate clear and effective communication among nursing staff, healthcare providers, and other departments.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on nursing activities and patient care outcomes.
- Education and Training:
- Coordinate ongoing education and training for nursing staff to keep them abreast of best practices and advancements in healthcare.
- Support professional development opportunities for the nursing team.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and administrative staff, to optimize patient care and outcomes.
- Participate in regular meetings to discuss and coordinate patient care plans.
- Emergency Response:
- Lead nursing staff in responding to emergencies, ensuring efficient and effective care during critical situations.
- Maintain composure and provide direction in high-pressure situations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Abu Dhabi.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a healthcare setting.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current healthcare practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in healthcare information systems and electronic health records.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
